[5:15pm] The Grand Rapids Griffins lead Cleveland, 5-3, midway through the 2nd period at Van Andel Arena. Bob Kaser on the call on WOOD Radio.
The good news: the Griffins tie the game against the Milwaukee Admirals with :51 seconds left in regulation, 2-2, on a goal by Amadeus Lombardi. The Griffins had 35 regulation shots on goal to the Admirals' 15. The bad news: Grand Rapids' Elmer Soderblom draws a 2-minute roughing penalty as time expires, and the Admirals have a 4-on-3 advantage in overtime.
