The Long Day Closes" Tommy Handley Memorial Choir

This recording was made shortly after Tommy Handley's memorial service in 1949 in aid of the Boys and Girls clubs in which Tommy was so interested. The anthem had been sung at his memorial service in St Paul's Cathedral (January 1949). The choir was made up of concert singers who were members of the Savage Club, and included Webster Booth and others.
