My old music teacher was a hardass like yours, and if I had any talent in composing (I don't. At all.), I would have done the same. This is a beautiful piece. Nice piece. Here from rslash. I couldn't help but think of the bird trill parts as rasperries directed at that professor. I don't play piano, but just the timing on this sounds tricky to play while sight reading the music for the first time, never mind the challenging key you used.
