Jewish Yemenite vocalist Ravid Kahalani in conversation

On Jon Faine's conversation hour Ravid Kahalani from Yemen Blues spoke about his musical heritage. Although he acknowledges his Jewish Yemenite roots he seems to be overly interested in pressing the universality of his music, diminishing the impact of his own Yemeni culture in Israel and emphasising instead  a connection with other musicians that for him transcends his own origins.
